A small ceremony was held at the office of Pak Brunei Investment Company to acknowledge the work done by Friends of Burns Centre – Patient Welfare Society at Dr Ruth K.M. Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi. On behalf of the management and board of PBICL, a contribution was made for the treatment of burns victims. Mr Mohammad Azmat Shigeyuki Ataka, Adviser Resource Development, Friends of Burns Centre expressed his appreciation for the generosity and interest shown by the Company. A discussion was held on the eligibility of deserving burn victims, particularly amputees, for accessing SBP's subsidized financing scheme for physically challenged borrowers. It was decided to maintain a liaison for assessing this matter further.
